STANDARD SEVEN: Micro-Political Leadership
A. School Executive Micro-Political Leadership: The school executive develops systems and relationships to leverage staff expertise and influence the school’s identity, culture and performance.
I was able to develop relationships with many staff members through micro-political leadership at Enloe Magnet High School during my principal residency. Some of the systems and relationships include, but are not limited to, participation in county-wide events, participation in class projects, involvement in the Charity Ball, supporting the teachers at the No Kid Hungry Conference, and active participation in the Parent Teacher Student Association. |
